Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Pembroke Pines

Stayed for 3 nights over Christmas. Room was perfect for us. Was really impressed with the staff who were up and cleaning even on Christmas day. Breakfast was great. We did read some reports saying people were filling bags with food but we never saw any evidence of that. The waffle maker was brilliant. Coffee on hand, 24 hours a day. Recommended.

After spending a week over the holiday weekend at the Fairfield Inn at Pembrook Pines, we had our vehicles catalytic converter cut out, and we were not the only victim today, or this week. We attempted to speak with the front desk and they initially told us there was nothing they could do to help, and had zero empathy for what took place at their property. We called the police, and when they arrived we filed a report. The officers were very helpful and kind to the situation. After taking reports, they let us leave and went to review footage. The sales manager, Judi, told the police to leave because, "their presence in marked cars is bad for business and they never catch them anyway." While we felt their demeanor was atrocious to begin with, this act was completely inappropriate and absolutely uncalled for. Not only does this say that your employees, as customer service representatives, do not not care for they customers, it shows a complete lack of respect for the police department simply trying to do their job. Not only were they making it impossible for them to actually do so, they made it known through these actions that they simply do not care. I would recommend that anyone considering to stay here to think otherwise and never stay with them again. Good luck all that suffered and got zero help from these disrespectful employees.

I usually stay at the Hampton inn up the road but am debating switching to Marriott properties for 2024. Good location , new, nice breakfast the only things I can find fault for are there’s a water treatment plant across the street if the wind blows wrong well not a pleasant smell outside. Again not the hotels fault. The thermostat does not have the keep fan running setting so if your like me and like that white noise in the back round your outta luck. I like how on the Hilton app I can select my room u can’t do that on Marriott which is kinda a bummer. I’d stay here again in the future.

My family is Mariott Bonvoy members and also prefer Fairfields when we go as a family and always had a great experience, except this hotel. The rooms are small (e g Queen beds with not even leg room to get out of the bed) and uncleaned filthy. When complained at front desk they are not bothered and gave excuses. Also they don’t clean the rooms and only every other day or not at all. Beware of that. There was a guy at the front desk on Nov 18th morning who was rude in answering too. Breakfast was okay. Overall bad Fairfield we have been. We even stayed after in another Fairfield at Miami Airport and that was awesome. I would avoid this hotel as it looks like the Franchise is not keeping up to the standard.
